Lightower Fiber Networks, the Boxborough-based communications company, is continuing its expansion in the New York and Connecticut areas.
Lightower announced that it has expanded fiber and broadband service between New Haven, Conn., and Stamford, Conn.
Also, there is new service between Westchester County, N.Y., and New York City.
The New Haven-Stamford connection will include service in Norwalk, Bridgeport, and Milford, which are all municipalities in Connecticut.
Customers in the expanded service areas will now be able to connect with the 6,100 fiber route miles the company already has in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire.
