Lighthouse Biz Solutions LLC, the Gardner firm providing financial services for the cannabis industry, has partnered with Tel-Affinity Corp. to help Lighthouse’s clients navigate the rising cost of utilities.
Tel-Affinity Corp. is an independent vendor and neutral advisor being brought in to source a variety of energy procurement and efficiency solutions for Lighthouse Biz’s clients, according to a Thursday press release from Lighthouse.
Tel-Affinity has worked with an indoor farmer to work on its energy costs and implemented a program that helped it cut costs and save resources, according to its website.
“We are pleased to have been able to form this partnership with Tel-Affinity as a value-added service to our clients. We are very concerned with the increased costs our clients are experiencing and any solutions we can deliver to them is a benefit,” Tina Sbrega, president of Lighthouse Biz Solutions, said in the press release.
Lighthouse Biz is a subsidiary of GFA Federal Credit Union and provides financial services to marijuana-related businesses. It follows the guidance issued by the U.S. Department of Treasury Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.
Tel-Affinity has a portfolio of energy procurement and sustainability services, including cloud-based building controls, energy procurement, solar, and electric vehicle charging.
