Life Sciences Center Seeks Projects

The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center is looking for capital improvement projects that it can spend up to $25 million on.

The quasi-public agency is soliciting applications for projects starting in fiscal 2013 that will support development in the life sciences. The projects must be initiated by government entities or nonprofits and must create jobs and contribute to the life sciences industry in the state.

The money is part of the state's 10-year, $1 billion Life Sciences Initiative.

Interested parties must submit an initial application, including a two-page summary of the project, by April 29. Finalists will be asked to submit a full proposal.
