The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center has added three members to its scientific advisory board.
The new members are: Gary Borisy, CEO of Marine Biological Laboratory; Rainer Fuchs, vice president and executive director of Weston-based Biogen Idec‘s Innovation Incubator and Lita L. Nelsen, director of MIT’s technology licensing office.
The additions bring the board’s total membership to 17. Its chairman is Harvey Lodish, a biology professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
The center is a quasi-public agency charged with implementing the state’s $1 billion Life Sciences Initiative.
