Individually underwritten life insurance sold by U.S. insurers declined 6.6 percent nationwide in November as compared to November 2005, reports the Westwood-based MIB Group. It was the ninth consecutive month of decreases in 2006, according to the MIB Life Index.
Year to date, U.S. application activity declined 3.6 percent compared to the same 11 months in 2005.
