An industrial building at 154 Pioneer Drive in Leominster was sold on Friday to an entity affiliated with US Chemical Solutions LLC of Wyoming for $4.5 million.
The facility was sold by the Monson Companies, Inc., a subsidiary of Azelis L&MF and Azelis Essential Chemicals, a subsidiary of Belgian chemical giant Azelis, according to the Worcester Northern District Registry of Deeds.
Terry Mullin, head of corporate communications for Azelis Americas in New Jersey said via email the company would be staying in the immediate area, but did not provide details about exactly to where or when a move would take place.
The buyer is WY TCG Properties LLC of Douglas, Wyoming, an affiliate of US Chemical Solutions LLC. The company announced on LinkedIn on Friday its subsidiary, USCS Logistics LLC would use the site as a facility to serve Greater Boston, as well as New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
“Our latest addition brings us an additional 51,000 square feet of warehousing and chemical blending space,” said the post.
The property was last sold in 1987 for $2 million. The City of Leominster assesses the property at $2.2 million.
