Leominster Credit Union Donates $25G For Boys And Girls Club Project

Leominster Credit Union (LCU) has issued a $25,000 donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster to help pay for a recent renovation and expansion at its Leominster facility.
The Lindell Avenue club headquarters recently underwent massive renovation and construction. It was formerly the site of the Julie Country Day School, a Catholic school that closed its doors in 2006. Parts of the building were demolished and rebuilt, adding square footage and updated classrooms and recreation spaces for students.
The club will host a ribbon cutting at its newly-renovated facility on Oct. 24.
