Leominster apartments sell for $9.6M

Hilltop Garden, a 120-unit Leominster apartment complex, has sold for $9.6 million.

The deal, which closed Dec. 30, represents a small 2.4% price jump since the last sale in 2006. The sale prices each unit at $80,000.

The complex’s owner, the Connecticut property management company First Merchants Group, sold the site to a limited liability corporation registered to Bechara Fren of Franklin.

The City of Leominster last assessed the property at 47 Princeton St. at just under $6.9 million.
