Leadership Worcester is recruiting 25 new members for its 2021 class, according to the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, who co-sponsor the program.
Leadership Worcester takes its participants through a nine-month experiential education program, wherein they learn about the community and engage with local leaders. The goal is to teach participants about the region's challenges and opportunities, as well as the city's anchor institutions and hidden gems, the co-sponsors said in a joint press release.
"Leadership Worcester benefits employers by encouraging civic engagement and directly supporting the local pipeline of thought leaders and innovators, ” said Timothy Murray, president and CEO of the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, in a statement.
Applications are due by May 29, and acceptances will be released in July. More information and application instructions are available online.
