About a third of attorneys responding to a recent survey said they would take a job overseas, according to Robert Half Legal.
Robert Half, an international temporary employment agency, said that as the economy recovers, more organizations will establish an international presence, creating opportunities for lawyers outside the United States.
However, attorneys with an interest in international law should know that the ability to speak two or more languages is often a prerequisite. Practice areas that are currently providing international opportunities for lawyers include energy, climate change, global restructuring, litigation and compliance.
