Law Firm Buys, Converts New HQ

A Chelmsford law firm with a specialty in real estate law has purchased 6 Lyberty Way in Westford.

Marlborough-based O’Brien Commercial Properties said the law firm, Perkins & Anctil purchased the 35,000-square-foot office building on 8 acres in order to relocate its headquarters.

The transaction closed at the end of August.

The firm also converted the property into an office and industrial condominium and sold the first floor of the building to MB Realty Corp., which intends to resell 17,500 square feet there as office or flex space, according to O’Brien.
