Dudley-based Nichols College has promoted Robert W. LaVigne to associate vice president for buildings and grounds.
LaVigne has worked for Nichols since 2006 and has managed six residential hall projects and made substantial renovations and enhancements to the campus. In his new position, he manages a facilities staff of 12.
Before joining Nichols, LaVigne was associate director of the physical plant at Brown University.
He has a B.S. in business administration from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA in organizational leadership from Johnson & Wales University. He lives in Rhode Island with his wife Lisa and sons Justin and Christopher.
