Landscaper buys Spencer commercial building for $665K

Arnold Arsenault Jr., the president of  A Arsenault & Sons, Inc. landscaping company in Spencer has purchased the building adjacent to his company’s headquarters for $665,000, according to Massachusetts land and corporate records.

The property at 21 West Main St. in Spencer is the former home of the Taggies Baby Blanket Co., as well as an environmental lake and pond management company, according to Worcester commercial real estate firm NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs, whose vice president, Jeff Borus, represented the seller in the transaction.

The deal closed April 10. 

Arsenault bought the property through a limited liability corporation, JAMBA, LLC, which is based in Spencer, according to the Massachusetts Secretary of State. His landscaping company was founded in 1979 by his father, Arnold Arsenault Sr., and is now owned by Arsenault Jr. and Michael Scott Letendre, according to the company’s website.

The seller was HER Holdings, Inc., which is based in Spencer and is run by William Stevenson.
