Lakeway Commons has signed three new leases, bringing the Shrewsbury shopping center to full capacity less than a year after its opening.
Club Pilates, a pilates studio and gym from the California-based chain, is slated to open this summer, along with Atlantic Poke, a restaurant serving the popular sushi-and-salad poke dish, developer Grossman Development Group announced Thursday. A third new tenant, SkinMD Laser & Cosmetic Group, is slated to open Sept. 1 after moving from Worcester.
The new storefronts will join Whole Foods Market, Starbucks, Tavern in the Square, Burton's Grill, Qdoba Mexican Eats, Visionworks and others. The roughly 100,000-square-foot retail plaza includes 250 apartments and 14 townhouses.
The first stores opened at the former Spag's site on Route 9 last fall.
Club Pilates will be owned by Michaela and Jeff Bruce, and Atlantic Poke by Shrewsbury resident Michael Tomaiolo. SkinMD Laser & Cosmetic Group, which offers cosmetic face and body treatments and other skin services like non-surgical facelifts, is owned and operated by Paul Flashner, and will move from its current location on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester.
