Kopin hires new Asia general manager

Kopin Corporation, a developer of wearable technology based in Westborough, has hired Kenny Cheung as Asia general manager and vice president.
In his new role, Cheung will direct Kopin's operations in Asia and report directly to Kopin’s President and CEO John C.C. Fan. According to Kopin, Cheung has more than 25 years of experience in mobile services and display technology, with knowledge of sales and marketing strategy development and implementation.
Fan said in a statement that Cheung’s experience would help the company commercialize its technology. Kopin’s technology portfolio includes ultra-small displays, optics, speech enhancement technology, software, low-power ASICs, and ergonomically designed smart headset concept systems.
