The owners of Koopman Lumber of Whitinsville have bought a 60,000-square-foot industrial building in the Sutton Commerce Park for just under $4 million.
Koopman’s offices and distribution center are based at the 29 Gilmore Drive site, as are operations for WinField United, a lawn care company.
An entity registered to two of Koopman’s owners, Dirk Koopman and Denise Brookhouse, bought the property from an entity registered to Scott Edwards of Barrington, R.I. The sale closed Sept. 22.
The site last sold in 2005 for $3.2 million, according to town records. The Town of Sutton last assessed the property for $3.3 million.
The Sutton Commerce Park also includes a new facility for the manufacturing firm Primetals, as well as Champion Container, a packaging supplier, and Source International, a furniture maker.
