Kimberly Salmon will join The Hanover Insurance Group as the company’s assistant vice president of community relations, the company announced in a statement on Wednesday.

Salmon most recently worked as the director of community relations and engagement at Worcester insurer Fallon Health, a position she took over in 2011, according to Hanover. At Hanover Insurance, Salmon will lead strategy and execution of the Hanover Insurance Group Foundation and community relations functions, as well as head employee engagement and volunteerism.
Salmon serves on a variety of area boards, including Ascentria Care Alliance, Greater Worcester Community Foundation, the Worcester Educational Development Fund and the Worcester Together Fund and Task Force, according to Hanover. She has served as chair of the Worcester Women’s Leadership Conference Committee for the last four years and has worked to help raise money for a number of local nonprofits.Â
She received the 2018 Youth Champion Award from the Worcester City Manager’s Committee and the 2019 Katharine F. Erskine Award for health, science and technology in honor of her work for community health equity.
