Kennedy CHC head appointed to Blue Cross foundation board

One of Worcester’s longest-serving community health leaders was appointed to the board of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation.

Antonia G. McGuire, president and CEO of the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center in Worcester, has been appointed to the Foundation’s board, according to a Thursday press release.

McGuire, a registered nurse, has been president and CEO of the community health center since 2008. She received her nursing degrees from the Community College of Rhode Island and a bachelor’s degree from Maryville University in St. Louis. She holds a master’s degree in public health from St. Louis University.
