Job Training Program Comes To Westborough
The Justice Resource Institute, a Boston-based organization that provides services to people with disabilities, has introduced an employment training program, called MetroWest Works, in Westborough.
The program is offering services to 40 people, drawing participants from Worcester to Boston's outer neighborhoods. Located at 276 Turnpike Rd. in Westborough, it represents an expansion of program that JRI previously ran in Natick.
The group said it moved the program to the new location because it was steadily growing and needed more space.
The program helps participants with physical, emotional or learning-related disabilities learn job-search and employment skills.
