Jewish Healthcare Center has bought a 5,600-square-foot building on Salisbury Street in Worcester to expand its administrative offices.
The center announced the purchase on Tuesday but did not give a sales price.
Jewish Healthcare Center said the building is needed to accommodate growth in its hospice, home care and rehabilitation programs. Around 20 administrative employees will be moved to 646 Salisbury St. from their current location at 629 Salisbury St.
The move is expected to take place this spring.
Jewish Healthcare Center is a nonprofit offering specialized programs for post-hospital rehabilitation, home care services and longer-term care including for Alzheimer’s patients.
