Jersey Mike’s Subs, an American submarine sandwich franchise headquartered in New Jersey, is opening a new location at 3-8 Digital Way in Maynard.
On Wednesday, franchise owners Heidi Schofield, Ethan Wishnick, and Ross Wishnick will hold the grand opening, along with a fundraiser for Maynard Food Pantry. Special fundraising coupons will be distributed that, in addition to a $3 minimum donation to the food bank, can be exchanged for a regular sub during the event.
“As long-time members of the neighboring communities, we’re thrilled to bring Jersey Mike’s to town and build new relationships,” said Wishnick in a Thursday press release. “It’s exciting for us to be a part of Maynard’s incredible growth over the years and help continue that trend.”
The restaurant chain has five other Central Massachusetts locations: Franklin, Marlborough, Milford, Shrewsbury, and Westborough.
