Vice President, Commercial Banking, United Bank, Worcester
Birthplace: Worcester

Colleges and degrees earned: Bachelor’s degree, Clark University; MBA, University of Massachusetts Boston
Career highlights: Making some tough career decisions that have landed me in the right spot.
Community involvement: I am currently treasurer of the Worcester East Side Community Development Corp. and vice president of AIDS Project Worcester. Additionally, I’m a member of the Women’s Initiative of the United Way, and have served as a loaned executive and chairperson of the loaned executive team for the United Way Workplace Campaign.
Ultimate career goal: Continue on my current career path in banking, so long as it remains as gratifying as it has been over the past eight years.
Non-relative you admire most: My St. Anne’s School basketball coaches, who taught me at a young age that talent doesn’t always win, but that dedication, focus and the ability to move outside of one’s comfort zone will ensure success.
Favorite book: “The Glass Castle,” by Jeannette Walls
Hidden talents: Gardening is my passion. Those outside of my professional life are often shocked when they see me in work attire and not covered in dirt.
“By the time I turn 50, I’d like to … have traveled to China.”
