Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers is the latest free agent to be secured by The Boston Celtics, in a four-year deal making the Framingham company the official craft brewer for the team.
“The Celtics are a storied institution in New England steeped in pride with a loyal following,” Jack’s Abby wrote in the announcement. “This is what makes them the perfect partner for Jack's Abby as we work to bring pride to everything we do and earn the loyalty of our fans in New England and beyond.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As part of the partnership, the brewery will work with the team to create its first ever collaborative beer -- Pride and Parquet -- to be released to kick off next season.
Last year, Jack's Abby and sister brewer Springdale opened a bar at Boston's North Station, below TD Garden called Track Zero Taproom.
