Jabil Inc., the global manufacturing company based in Florida with major operations in Clinton, promoted Kenny Wilson to CEO, replacing President and CEO Mark Mondello, who will transition into the role of executive chairman when Kenny takes over as CEO on May 1.
Wilson, whose promotion was announced Nov. 4, joined Jabil in 2000 and most recently served as the executive vice president of the Jabil Greenpoint Team. He is 57 years old.
Jabil is a multinational manufacturing company with more than 260,000 employees in 30 countries.
It has a 95,000-square-foot facility in Clinton with a cleanroom manufacturing facility and office space. The facility is housed in a former carpet factory, which was built in 1840, and is used as the company’s customer engagement and innovation center for Jabil Healthcare.
