IT training company Slamm Technologies opens Worcester location

Slamm Technologies is opening a Worcester office.
Virginia-based IT training and services company Slamm Technologies LLC will host a grand opening for its new Worcester office, located at 70 James St. in the Hadwen Park area, on Tuesday, the company announced on Thursday.
Founders Francisca and Samuel Boateng first launched Slamm in 2008, as a loans-and-mortgages company. But after Samuel began teaching friends and colleagues some IT basics, the Boatengs decided to change course and start teaching IT and cybersecurity courses full time.
The first Slamm Technologies location opened in Manassas, Va., approximately 20 miles outside of Washington, D.C., according to the press release. Aside from offering IT and cybersecurity courses, the company provides IT services for local companies.
Courses are offered both online and in-person
