Although January saw a decline in IT job openings in the state, the industry has bounced back in February, with growth in job opportunities.
According to a survey from SkillPROOF, which counts job openings nationwide, last month saw 1,460 IT job openings. That’s 5.8 percent more than January, which counted 1,380 openings.
Although numbers were up in February of this year, they were still down from the same time last year, which saw 1,770 openings. The SkillPROOF survey said that this year’s performance suggests that employers are cautious.  Â
