Wholesalers’ inventories rose for the third straight month in March while sales increased significantly amid rising demand, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
Wholesale inventories rose 0.4 percent in March while sales increased by 2.4 percent.
The disparity indicates that goods are being sold more quickly than wholesalers can keep up with demand.
