Smoothie King, a Texas-based food and beverage company with more than 1,350 stores internationally, is opening its first Massachusetts storefront in Maynard.
To be opened by fall, the storefront will be at Maynard Crossing, a 300,000-square-foot mixed development center on Digital Way. Smoothie King signed a lease to enter the center with Capital Group Properties, according to a Tuesday press release from the Southborough-based developer.
The store will be at 15 Digital Way, located near the center’s Planet Fitness location, as well as fitness studio F-45.
Smoothie King signed the lease as Capital Group Properties is in its second stage of development of the shopping center, which opened in 2019, according to the press release. An expected additional 46,000 square feet of retail space will be added by the end of the year.
