The head of a North Shore painting, flooring and industrial work company has paid nearly $1.2 million to buy a commercial building on Route 20 in Auburn.
The buyer is Jim Kaloutas, a co-founder of the company Kaloutas, which is based on the North Shore and has a location at 42 Lagrange St. in Worcester. The seller was NEMMG Realty Trust and trustee Michael Mikitarian.
The deal, which closed Dec. 16, was announced Tuesday by NAI Glickman Kovago and Jacobs, a Worcester real estate firm representing the seller.
The site today is home to New England Medical Management Group.
The 9,500-square-foot single-story building at 304 Washington St. was last assessed by the Town of Auburn at $866,600. Mikitarian bought the site in 2002 for $725,000.
Kaloutas didn't immediately return a call for comment.
