Interbit Data, a Natick-based software provider for clinicians and hospital staff, announced on Thursday it had appointed Steve McDonald as president.
In his new role, McDonald will lead the strategic growth of Interbit and propel the company into adjacent markets, according to the release.
McDonald has 30 years of experience in hospital, ambulatory care, and information technology sectors. Prior to his role with Interbit Data, he served as vice president consulting for Impact Advisors in Illinois and general manager, president of healthcare at Covisint in Michigan.
Arthur Young, founder and former president of Interbit Data will stay on as CEO of the company.
"I am thrilled and honored to have Steve McDonald join our organization to leverage his keen vision and industry knowledge," said Young in the written announcement.
