Intel Massachusetts has made a record contribution to local charities, completing a round of donations totaling $183,000 this fall.
That number represents a 12 percent jump from last season’s numbers, when Intel collected $162,000 in donations. Intel offers employees a 100 percent match for any donation that they make, up to $10,000. With the match included, Intel Massachusetts made a total donation of $366,000 to charity.
The matching funds will go to the Community Care Fund of the United Way of Tri-County, a charity serving the Middlesex, Norfolk, and Worcester counties.
