Insomnia Cookies, the Philadelphia-based late-night cookie retailer, is opening a store in Kelley Square in Worcester that will offer cookie delivery until 3 a.m.
The store, planned for 1 Kelley Square, will be the company’s fourth location in Massachusetts after Amherst, Cambridge and Boston. Insomnia Cookies didn’t detail when the store would begin sales, saying only it will open “later this year.”
The company said cookie delivery will start as early as 9 a.m., serving popular flavors like Chocolate Chunk, Snickerdoodle, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup and S’mores Deluxe. A full ice cream menu will also be available.
A pint of cold milk, of course, can be added to any order, the company said.
The company also offers larger options like cookie cakes and brownies for gifts or larger celebrations.
Insomnia Cookies is one of two planned new retail storefronts for Kelley Square. Anthem Bagels is planning to open in the former Uncle Sam's Pizza on the same block, but has not yet set an opening date.
Kelley Square is slated to undergo a $14 million overhaul as part of the state's investment in better infrastructure in the neighborhood that was announced as part of the $240 million ballpark and mixed-use development for the Pawtucket Red Sox.
