In the week ending June 14, 381,000 Americans filed for unemployment insurance coverage for the first time, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
That’s a decrease of 5,000 from the previous week’s revised figure of 386,000. The 4-week moving average was 375,250, an increase of 3,250 from the previous week.
