Worcester supplier American Equipment Group has been acquired by Resolute Industrial Holdings of Indianapolis for an undisclosed amount.
AEG is made up of American Spot Cooling, which provides temporary cooling, heating, dehumidification, and power solutions, and American Power Rental, which offers temporary HVAC products including generators, power distribution, and transformers. The company was founded in 2011 and now has 10 offices in the US serving the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Gulf Coast regions.
Resolute is a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, LP, a private equity firm specializing in aerospace, defense & government services, power generation, and specialty industrial markets.
The companies were light on details of the private sale, declining a request for more information on what the sale would mean for AEG employees and locations. However, in a press release announcing the acquisition, Resolute CEO Mike McGraw said the acquisition expands Resolute’s rental fleet and expands the geographic reach of the company.
