IT media and research firm International Data Corp., and its parent company International Data Group, have renewed leases totaling 142,754 square feet in Framingham and Boston.
According to Boston-based commercial real estate firm Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, the company's 127,303-square-foot lease at 3 and 5 Speen St. in Framingham is one of the largest in suburban Boston. The landlord is Carruth Capital LLC of Westborough. The company leases all of 5 Speen St. and two floors of 3 Speen St. in the Point West Office Center.
The company also renewed the lease for IDG's corporate headquarters at One Exeter Place at 699 Boylston St. in Boston. That lease is 15,451 square feet on the building's 15th floor and penthouse.
RBJ represented IDG in both transactions. In the Framingham deal, Carruth represented itself and in Boston, landlord Boylston Properties was represented by commercial broker Jones Lang LaSalle.
The length of the renewed leases was not disclosed.
