Framingham’s IDC Energy Insights has hired John Villali to bolster their analysis of the transforming energy market.
Villali will assume the role of research director and focus on the area of utility digital transformation. Most recently, Villali worked as a principal consultant, with a concentration on wholesale and retail power markets at DNV-GL. Villali has experience in energy policy, demand side management, distributed energy management, and the analysis of commodity trading, according to a release from IDC.
The addition of Villali will “greatly enhance our coverage of the utility industry,” Research Vice President of IDC Energy Insights Kevin Prouty said in a statement.
