IDC Energy Insights, a division of Framingham market analysis firm International Data Corp., is starting a new survey covering the North American photovoltaic industry.
The American Solar Energy Society worked with IDC Energy Insights to develop the survey of solar installers. The firm said the survey results, to be collected on a regular basis, will offer guidance to the industry.
The survey results will contribute to IDC Energy Insights’ research publications and will help the Solar Energy Society develop a bi-monthly index tracking installation and price of photovoltaic installations by region.
