IC Federal to open Worcester branch
IC Federal Credit Union will expand into Worcester before the end of the year, the Fitchburg-based financial institution announced.
Renovations at the new branch site, at 947 West Boylston St., will begin soon, according to President and CEO Tony Emerson. ““This location was decided upon after an extensive search. We serve thousands of Members in Worcester and surrounding towns, and are delighted to bring (IC) … to the region.”
The new branch will include a full-service drive-thru and ATM, IC said.
IC, with about $550 million in assets, is the sixth-largest credit union based in Central Massachusetts. It has five branches, in Fitchburg, Leominster, Westminster and Ayer.
