Fitchburg-based IC Federal Credit Union has promoted its former vice president of finance to senior vice president and CFO.
Christine Lane-Monette, a 13-year employee of IC Federal, will step into one of the top roles at the financial institution.
According to WBJ's research, the credit union is the sixth largest in Central Massachusetts with more than $505.3 million in assets.
In the new role, she will oversee the finance department, risk management and compliance.
"It is an exciting time to be at IC with so many opportunities ahead, and I look forward to further contributing to the credit union’s transformation and growth,” she said in a statement.
She’s played a pivotal role in driving the business unit’s growth and profitability, as well as improving the credit union’s overall finance operations, IC Federal said in a statement last month.
Lane-Monette, a Leominster resident, has 17 years of banking experience, including previous roles as internal auditor, staff accountant and financial analyst. Her finance career began at a regional public accounting firm performing both audit and tax functions.
She holds an undergraduate degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Fitchburg State University, as well as an MBA with a concentration in accounting.
