Hudson solar company New England Clean Energy on Wednesday announced it has expanded its services to Cape Cod and has opened a new office in Rhode Island.
The company announced Wednesday it is now installing solar systems for Cape Cod customers, and has opened an office in Pawtucket, R.I.
“We hear weekly from people who read about us on Solar Reviews and are disappointed to be told we don’t serve their town,” Founder Mark Durrenberger said in a press release. “Expanding our service area to the Cape means we’ll now be able to help many of those people install solar energy systems and shift their electricity budgets to solar. In my mind, that’s a very good thing.”
The company announced a new loan offering for second homes in Massachusetts.
“This is particularly relevant when it comes to the Cape, of course,” Durrenberger said.
The company has been installing solar systems in Rhode Island for several years, so opening an office in the state was the next logical step, Durrenberger said.
