A Hudson plastics manufacturer that bought two other firms over the last five years has brought the three companies under one name, its chief executive announced this week.
Plastic Molding Manufacturing Inc., the name of the corporate parent, will also be the outward-facing name of the company. The three companies involved — ResTech Plastic Molding of Hudson; Northeast Mold & Plastics of Berlin, Conn.; and True Precision Plastics of Lancaster, Pa. — were acquired by Plastic Molding over the past five years and have operated independently until now, the company said.
This renewed focus emphasizes Plastic Molding’s roots and strengths: plastic molding development, production and service, the company said.
Plastic Molding was established in 1968.
“As we begin the new year,” CEO George Danis said in a statement, “this unification will continue to support economic growth through local employment. We believe providing quality, innovative products throughout America is a good thing, and we aim to do our part under our original name.”
