Schenck USA Corp., a maker of rotors and other balancing products, has bought its Hudson facility for nearly $4 million as part of the company's growth plans.
The site at 571 Main St. includes a 57,000-square-foot facility on nearly seven acres. Schenck, whose American headquarters are on Long Island in New York, said the acquisition will strengthen the company's ability to grow in the aerospace and e-mobility industries.
Schenck bought the site from the Walsh Realty Trust of Hudson in a deal closed March 2.
The Hudson site is one of three United States sites for the company, along with the New York headquarters and a location in Michigan. It also has sites in 30 European countries, 10 countries in Africa, 17 in the Caribbean and South America, 11 in the Middle East, and three in Australia and the South Pacific. The Hudson site includes Schenck's test devices unit.
