Home improvement retailer Lowe’s is set to open a new 117,000-square-foot store in Hudson this week.
The store is set to open at 6 a.m. Friday and has scheduled a grand opening for Feb. 4. As part of the grand opening, Lowe’s will match gift card purchases of up to $5,000 with donations to Lowell Habitat for Humanity.
The new store is expected to create as many as 175 new jobs. Lowe’s has 1,700 stores in the United States and Canada and is based in North Carolina.
