HR group wants immigration cooperation

A Washington D.C.-based national coalition of

human resources organizations

has released a five-point plan that it says will help HR execs better screen against fraudulent immigration paperwork. The plan emphasizes cooperation between regulators, employees and employers to create a more efficient system of verifying immigration status – but one that is not mandated by the government. The move comes amidst a series of immigration busts at businesses across the country.
