BJ’s Wholesale Club Inc. of Natick said its June 2010 sales were up 7.9 percent from the same month last year, to $1.08 billion.
Comparable store sales rose 3.8 percent for the period.
The company said its biggest increases came from air conditioners, cigarettes, some food items, toys and water.
Departments with weaker results included coffee, computers, paper products, videos and televisions.
