Hospital System Gets New VP
Vanguard Health Systems has hired Peter Tolfa as vice president of managed care for the New England Market.
Vanguard is the parent company of Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester and MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham and Natick.
Tolfa has worked in the Massachusetts managed care health-care industry for 23 years, most recently as director of managed care services for Boston Medical Center.
Tolfa has a bachelor's degree in economics from Siena College in New York, an MBA from Suffolk University in Boston and a master's degrees in social work from the State University of New York at Albany.
