Hopkinton life sciences manufacturer Lykan Bioscience has named Patrick Lucy the company’s new CEO.
Lucy brings more than 29 years of biotechnology industry experience spanning from operations to corporate development and will take on the role of CEO and president effective Thursday, according to a release from the contract development and manufacturing firm.
Lucy was brought into the organization in January as its new COO and president after he spent 19 years at Pfenex Inc., where he was a founder and chief business officer.
Lucy will assume day-to-day leadership of the company and will also join Lykan’s board of directors.
Anthony Rotunno, Lykan’s former CEO, will assume the role of founder & executive vice chairman, according to the release.
