Hopkinton Adds Lumbar Support

Facet Solutions Inc. said it had completed the move of its corporate headquarters from Logan, Utah to 45 South Street in Hopkinton.
The private, venture-backed, 12-employee company said it chose to move into space in Hopkinton to "have access to a wealth of talent in the medical device and spine industry." The company develops a spinal implant system that it says is an alternative to lumbar spinal fusion surgery.
The company also said it hired Susan Hedden as vice president of clinical trial operations. Hedden was previously general manager of clinical operations at New Haven, Conn.-based Applied Spine Technologies.
