Almost Family, Inc., a home health agency with operations in Westborough, announced it has completed the acquisition of Nashville-based SunCrest HealthCare, a home health agency with 75 locations throughout the U.S.
Almost Family bought SunCrest’s stock, valued at $75.5 million, through the deal. Headquartered in Louisville, Ky., Almost Family said in a statement that the SunCrest acquisition will widen its footprint to 240 branches across 14 states, and increase annual net revenue to nearly $500 million.
Almost Family CEO William B. Yarmuth said all SunCrest employees, patients and referral sources have been integrated into the company through the acquisition.
Founded in 1976, Almost Family is a leading regional home health services provided, with locations in Florida, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Missouri, Illinois, Mississippi and Alabama.
