Montachusett Home Care Corp. of Leominster has hired Mary L. Neal, who worked for the state-funded service coordination nonprofit three decades ago, as its new assistant director.
Neal worked for MHCC for six years as a crisis intervention counselor and case manager before moving to the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs in 1983. At the state office she helped guide nonprofit agencies, including her old employer, in developing protective services programs.
Neal is a licensed certified social worker and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in counseling from Fitchburg State College. She lives in Ashburnham with her husband, Al.
